- Abstract
- Introduction. The ileocecal valve, situated in the right iliac fosse, behaves anatomically and functionally like a sphincter, separating the ileum from the cecum. The most common pathophysiology of the ileocecal valve is the spasm of the valve, which is why many authors relate to dysfunctional algetic. The aim of this project is to demostrate the direct influence of dealing with right sacroiliac pain by the inhibition of the ileocecal valve. Metodology. The project is about an experimental research using a treatment and control group. Both groups with seven participants each, all of them aged between 20 and 65 years. Results. In the analysis, the score gains of the Owerstry questionnaire and VAS scale were studied as a method to compare the treatment efficacy. Conclusions. Using scores, after the implementation of the visceral technique a score decrease was registred. It concludes that the inibition of the ileocecal valve technique can be an indication against a right sacroiliac pain.

- Introducció. La vàlvula ileocecal, situada a la fosa ilíaca dreta, anatòmica i funcionalment es comporta com un esfínter, separant l’íleum del cec. La fisiopatologia més comuna de la vàlvula ileocecal sol ser l’estat d’espasme, fet que molts autors relacionen amb repercussions àlgiques o mecàniques disfuncionals a nivell de l’articulació sacroilíaca dreta. L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és el de evidenciar la influència directa del abordatge del dolor sacroilíac dret mitjançant la inhibició de la vàlvula ileocecal. Metodologia. Es tracta d’un estudi experimental amb dos grups, un de control i un d’estudi, de 7 subjectes cadascun. Tots ells amb edats compreses entre els 20 i els 65 anys. Resultats. A l’anàlisi es van estudiar els guanys obtinguts a les puntuacions dels qüestionaris d’Owerstif i l’escala d’EVA com a mètode per comparar l’eficàcia del tractament. Fent servir les puntuacions diferencials es va registrar una disminució en les puntuacions posteriors a la execució de la tècnica visceral. Conclusió. Podem afirmar que la tècnica d’inhibició de la vàlvula ileocecal pot resultar ser una indicació davant un dolor sacroilíac dret
