Introducción: el objetivo de este estudio fue valorar la calidad de vida en el paciente con dolor cervical crónico tras el tratamiento del diafragma con 3 técnicas de normalización. Una en decúbito supino, una variante unilateral y una técnica en sedestación. Metodología: el estudio fue un estudio de serie de casos transversal. Participaron 28 mujeres con edades comprendidas entre los 55 y los 64 años. Las variables medidas fueron: vitalidad, dolor y edad. Resultados: 22 mujeres relataron una mejoría de la vitalidad y dolor después del tratamiento. 6 no mostraron ningún cambio positivo. Los datos presentaron una significación superior al 0,05. Por lo tanto, se conservó la hipótesis nula.
Conclusiones: las técnicas utilizadas en el estudio sobre la calidad de vida de pacientes con dolor cervical crónico no han mostrado tener suficiente evidencia para aceptar la hipótesis de la investigación. - Abstract

Introduction: the objective of this study was to assess the quality of life in the patient with chronic cervical pain after the treatment of the diaphragm with 3 normalization techniques. One in supine decubitus, one unilateral variant and one sitting technique.
Methodology: the study was a cross-sectional case series study. 28 women aged between 55 and 64 participated. The variables measured were: vitality, pain and age.
Results: 22 women reported an improvement in vitality and pain after treatment. 6 did not show any positive change. The data presented a significance higher than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis was retained.
Conclusions: the techniques used in the study on the quality of life of patients with chronic cervical pain have not shown sufficient evidence to accept the hypothesis of the investigation. - presented at
