ABSTRACT
In this study we want to show the influence of osteopathic position of subluxation in medial-lateral rotation of the tibia by itself in the pathology of the degeneration of the femoropatellar cartilage.
We have realized an x-ray study by means of axial x-ray femoropatellar in 25 cases with signs of patellar chondropathy and without other pathology in the knee joint; we have measured the femoropatellar congruency angle and the lateral patellar displacement as Q angle.
We obtain a relation between tibial rotation osteopathic lesion and elevation of the femoropatellar congruency angle. We haven't found an evidence of lateral patellar displacement in relation with the lesion of rotation, and a tendency to patellar chondropathy in women with increased Q angle.
The subluxation in medial-lateral rotation have influence in the degeneration of the femoropatellar joint by elevation or descent in the congruency angle bilateral measured that propitiate a greater compression of a facet in the joint respect to the opposite one. - Abstract

En este estudio queremos poner en evidencia la posición osteopática de subluxación en rotación interna o externa de la tibia por si misma en la tendencia a la patología de la degeneración del cartílago articular femoro-rotuliano.
Para ello hemos realizado un estudio radiográfico mediante toma axial femoro-rotuliana en 25 casos con signos de condropatía rotuliana y ausentes de otra patología articular en rodilla, hemos valorado el ángulo de congruencia femoro-rotuliano y el desplazamiento lateral rotuliano, así como el ángulo Q.
Como resultado hemos observado una vinculación directa entre subluxación rotacional tibial y un aumento o descenso correspondiente al ángulo de congruencia femoro-rotuliano, no hemos encontrado concordancia entre el desplazamiento lateral rotuliano y la lesión de subluxación en la rotación de la rótula al igual que una incidencia a la tendencia a la degeneración del cartílago articular en mujeres con ángulo Q por encima del normal.
Cómo conclusión, la posición de subluxación en rotación interna o externa de tibia influye en la degeneración articular del cartílago femoro-rotuliano ya que al aumentar o disminuir el ángulo de congruencia articular femoro-rotuliana medido bilateralmente propicia una mayor compresión de una faceta articular con respecto a la otra. - presented at
